Caring For Your Products:

All products will be subject to natural wear and tear and breakdown of materials over time.   But taking care of your product will significantly extend its life.

Helpful Product Care Guidelines

Paddle Care:

  1. Use good technique to avoid hitting your paddle against the rails of your board and other hard or sharp objects.
  2. Do not leave your paddles in the hot sun or in extremely hot environments for prolonged periods of time.
  3. Keep your paddle in a paddle bag, which will help protect paddles from direct sunlight, heat and getting dinged.
  4. Fix any cracks or exposed areas immediately.
  5. Clean your paddle by rinsing all parts of your paddle with fresh water after use in salt water.

Board Maintenance:

  1. Avoid colliding into hard or sharp objects.
  2. Avoid falling on your board while paddling or surfing.  Your body can easily crack the board if you fall on it.
  3. Be aware of shallow reefs to avoid damaging the bottom of your board and fins.
  4. When not in use in the water do not leave your board in direct sunlight or in extremely hot environments for prolonged periods of time.
  5. Keep your board in a board bag, which will help protect your board from direct sunlight, heat and getting dinged.
  6. Fix any cracks or exposed areas immediately.
  7. Clean your board by rinsing it with fresh water after use in salt water.
  8. Use car polish to wax your board once a month.  This will protect the board from the sun’s harmful UV rays.
